- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆I have a different opinion, if people would spay and neuter their pets, then we wouldn't have all these unwanted animals. They let them run instead of keeping them in a fenced yard or something to keep them in yard. So what do expect a shelter to do when they get a overload of dogs. They are a temporary shelter not a home. There are dog rescues that adopt a lot out but they can't do every dog. Give them a break, vent on irresponsible dog owners. I have been in there shelter and the guy said how he sees people post on FB incorrect information. So why don't you go work in one before you jump on them. They are feeding them and paying people to take care of them while there, so they have to charge for adoption. I gave them a 4 star because there is no perfect place.By Diane Forbes, June 22, 2017
